Ramsey Auto Center offers professional key fob cutting and programming for most vehicles using proper equipment and verified procedures to ensure reliable operation. This is not a guess-and-hope service. We verify compatibility first, confirm the correct key, and make sure everything works exactly as it should before the vehicle leaves. If we have a compatible key fob in stock, your price starts at $149 per key and it is same-day service. No waiting, no shipping delays, no dealership pricing. If we do not have the key fob in stock, we will order it and typically have it available within two business days. Either way, our goal is simple: to save you money on your key fob without cutting corners. Pricing varies by vehicle year, make, model, and key type, and all pricing is confirmed before any work is performed. The $149 starting price is a limited-time promotional rate and applies to common key fobs currently in stock. Pricing is per key. Our key fob service may include supplying a vehicle-specific key fob (OEM or high-quality aftermarket depending on availability), cutting the key if required, programming and pairing it to your vehicle, and fully testing lock, unlock, and start functions to ensure proper operation. To get started, we only need your vehicle’s year, make, and model. After you submit a booking request, we will contact you to verify details, confirm compatibility, and in some cases request a photo of your existing key fob. We’ll also confirm whether the key is in stock or needs to be ordered and lock in pricing and scheduling. If a key fob needs to be ordered, a $25 deposit will be required in store or over the phone to secure your appointment. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee same-day service, but we will always do our best to accommodate when possible. If your vehicle is 2021 or newer or requires a more specialized programming approach than we can provide in-house, we still want you to reach out. We work with trusted, fairly priced local locksmiths and will help refer you to the right one—and arrange everything—so you’re not left guessing or overpaying. Some vehicles do require at least one existing working key in order to program an additional key fob. If that applies to your vehicle, we’ll let you know upfront. Bottom line: whether we program the key here or help coordinate with a trusted specialist, we’ll make sure you get the right solution at the best possible value.
